Workstation Ventilation

Ventilating workstations requiring ventilation

Soldering components, gluing jobs, metalworking, workshops, print shops, billboard printing, laboratories – these are just a few examples of workplaces that have workstations for one or more employees.

Such a workstation can be a workbench, a corner in a hall, or an automatic machine.

In workstations where there are emissions into the air: smoke, fumes, odours, or unhealthy substances, there is a need for local or even pinpoint ventilation.

Risks and Solutions

We are often aware of emissions caused during work. Some are unpleasant, some are toxic, and some just stinks. In any case, to create a healthy and pleasant workplace that meets the requirements of the Institute of Health and Hygiene, we propose constructing local suction systems.

Sometimes we can vent directly outside, in other cases, we will build a suction system with a collection piping system, and sometimes we will also build a filtration and purification unit for the emissions before releasing them into the atmosphere.

Solution designing

Every factory and every type of workstation requires a design tailored for them, for the customer's requirements, and according to the standards.

Therefore, there is a need to work closely with the client while maintaining standards, saving costs, and ultimately ensuring the satisfaction of the workers at the workstations.

Engineer Beni Meiri has decades of experience in planning and constructing such systems; see attached pictures of solutions on the website.
